Boba wampa quest debate once again

No, this won't work. If you retreat from the battle, the game doesn't register any impact from the battle, including any kills. It will work if you kill the Wampa and then lose the battle...but then both the Wampa and Boba will be dead and you can't advance the quest.

You can do this if you find one in arena. That’s how I did it. Either drop way down out of JKR country or coordinate with a shard member. Kill wampa, lose or time out, then repeat. You can do this as many time as you want to refresh

Yes, but it won't work in GW, which is what I was responding to.

Yup, retreating from a fight in GW just resets everything. You can use the unlimited retries to your advantage before you are able to sim GW but it wont help with Wampa hunting.

It does take a long while but it has been done and is being done...join up!

Well I’m helping those Wampa hunters out. I’m on the last leg of the BH quest and I need to get 50 arena wins with Bossk in my lineup. I’ve set my arena team to only Wampa as I have to plummet in ranks to do this quest.

The 500 contracts are easy enough, but I don't have Greedo, 88, Zam, or Dengar at G12 yet, so that's the biggest pain for me after Wampas.

Man, I don't usually care if things get changed to make them easier for new players, but I'm just about to finally finish Boba's stage on this current DSTB. If I finished it and they docked it down to 20 Wampas....hoo boy, I'd be salty. I know the rewards are meaningless but it just took SO. EFFING. LONG.

Would that be like dropping GW sim level down to 50 completions instead of 150 after thousands and thousands of players did the grind?

I had the 150 long before sims were around. When they changed it to 50, I shrugged and moved on. I still laugh at my friends because they are struggling with 50.

The irony is that everyone who only had to complete it 50 times is now playing it manually for the bounty hunter quest :D
