I think the reason Mando showed up again is because, and I am just speculating (And lowkey hoping), that they are headed for the route of Boba becoming Mand'alor. For those who know Legends, Boba becomes Mand'alor at some later point in his life and actually succeeds in uniting the clans like Bo-Katan tried to. For Mando to show up might end up tieing the story together so Boba can eventually gain the Darksaber.
That is, assuming they do go down that route. I sincerely hope so, because Mand'alor Boba is something I enjoyed very much
