I liked it too. But it’s not the Sopranos so I think people should stop looking for a crime saga logic in it. It’s about the motherless child finding his family among a fantastic assortment of outsiders, magical beasts and oddballs - much more akin to a classic Edwardian children’s adventure than anything.

But I agree the Sarlacc pit scene was redundant- she’s done her bit already
