Kozi clearly said That there would be help for us to farm these toons and also subtly acknowledged a poster's question about packs and double drops with a gif. My bad on taking that actual response from a dev as a bonafide yes.

I guess I'm just bad at reading things as I didn't see we needed OB months ago.

Well, it just as easily could have been as disastrous as farming jawas for the upcoming AAT raid last summer. A lot of people seem to forget that devs hints have been pretty misleading in the past.

No he didn't. He said there would be ways to get the shards you need. If you can find the response you saw that specified anything please post it. Only other thing they could've done was double drops or guarunteed availability in shops and neither were promised.

Haven't had that much fun since the Yoda event release, and as good as that was, I preferred this one greatly. Very awesome story to replay via our favorite game. Totally had me stumped at the Vader vs Old Ben part lol. I was sitting there going, "well this is ridiculous back and forth" until I actually read his final ability haha. #readingisawesome

I agree wholeheartedly, great event and I also wish it could be replayed just for fun, even without rewards.

Replayability would be really nice... as a completionist, it kinda stinks getting 2 stars on something and never able to try it again. Great work Devs and worth the wait for this event.

Again, no. Here's the comment you're talking about. You sound like you like precise language, which is a good thing. Now look at the precise language in the question: either a pack in the store or double drop?

The answers was - yeah, we're gonna give you packs or a double drop. Never at any point were we told it will be one or the other and/or both. Just this affirmation that either a pack or DD would be available. You're the one who thinks this meant: definitely yes on DD. You can't blame EA for anything here.
