Just accept the formatting of the calendar and move on.
It starts on the 5th and ends on the 11th. TW starts on the 11th. I think that was his point but I agree with your last statement. Yes from the 5th to the 10th is 6 days, but each day lasts 24 hours so the last day doesn't end until the 11th.
