Can someone explain to me why Triangle and Arrow mods are so rare?

I just spent 300 crystals on refreshes for Tier 3 speed mod sims, and not one arrow or triangle mod. I know that getting a speed primary mod is like winning a lottery, but seriously, getting these to mod types at all is like pulling teeth.

Don't get me started on the fact that 3* mods are rewards for Tier 3. After so much time and energy and effort is spent getting toons ready to tackle the tier 3 mod challenges, to receive 3* mods is really poor!

I get plenty of circle mods, so why are these ones so difficult? Just why?

  • Same reason caribanti are on almost every toon. But also they have the most primaries.

    what would you say if you were farming mods pre 100% drop rate?
    I was getting 2 grey mods per refresh most of the time


    Was around in those days, just didn't do any mod farming then. Now when I need the mods, I have to spend the next 6mths to get something good... really... wow! How awesome is that!!! /sarcasm


    But u can't farm mod as u like nowadays.. people use cantina energy to farm requirement char for legendary event. Like veteran duo, sith troop & assasin (if the rumor is true).

    If u want triangle n arrow so badly, u can stack ur crystals and buy 999 crystals mod pack. Guarantee u will get triangle n arrow (with random primary n secondary).

    mod farming is never "done", so you're probably gonna be modfarming for the rest of your swgoh "carreer". I know i am and i've got more than 80 +30 speed arrows.


    Especially since 6 and 7 for mods are a possibility...

    I Disagree; I can think of many games that give you the items you are tying to find/farm, has a multiplayer mode, and give reason to keep playing

  • The least they could do is remove the 3* shit mods from the rewards in the Tier 3 battle, I can hsndle bad drop rates for the good stuff, but getting a 3* mod is a slap in the face!

    the worst is when you get a gold triangle to drop annnndddddd it's 3 dot...
  • You can always tell the people that weren't around when the mod drop rate wasn't 100%.
