if your not farming for a long term project I feel cantina 8 node is better for short term farms Long term you come out ahead with the other. It definitly feels bad when you get bad rng eszpecially if your only looking for one signal data

I honestly have not have had the issues you're reporting on this node.  I was able to get 45 of both types of signal data since the nodes went live.  I have done 3 refreshes per day since the update.
