its becuase you are playing on the iPad and they have not optimized the screen to see everything. Its the phone version just squished down. That is why you can't see it.

or a screen that is the same size resolution.

No one can see the other teams capital ship tm during their capital turn. And thrawns ship sits further back then the others and his can almost be hidden at times, or all the time if playing on a squarer devices
