I’m in a similar situation to Lumiya but am about 6-9 months further down the line. Lots of zetas missing, although not many I feel are essential for the teams I’ve built if being honest. It’s probably about 5-10 I few I really need as being missing. Lots of omegas missing on toons who i don’t use at all either though.

For me the raid changes and conquest have exacerbated my slight zeta shortfall, as I’m better able to get teams to a point where they’re viable, and so need their zetas to be competitive, and throwing an extra character (usually a really important one) in every three months who usually need 2/3 zetas adds to the strain. As an ftp who takes 1st in fleet daily I’d say having maybe 5 extra mats a month (possibly through another new assault battle or heroic event?) wouldn’t break the economy, and with omis being the new top dog (and rightly scarce) it wouldn’t make a big difference to the overall balance in the game.
