Agreed. I spent money on the paid track and I'm sitting with nearly maxed currency, 5 unclaimed currency bundles on the episode track, and everything of use bought out of the store. 4 days until it refreshes and I'm already punching the coin block at the end of the track but can't claim the currency because I'm at cap. If there's nothing more than we used to get in the old GC model to spend this currency on and the cap is so low, why bother including currency on the premium track? It's another low hanging fruit that ends up being a feel bad experience for paying players this time and if they don't increase the cap or the frequency of the shop refreshes, I'll not be buying the premium track again. CG please make the right business decision and add more things for players to spend this currency on (in addition to increasing the paltry currency cap), else you're going to botch what could have otherwise been free money from a large % of the player base on a recurring basis.
Yeah, I feel for you. The currency cap heavily hits anyone who spends on the Episode pass.
And CG can say anything it wants about how there's still stuff you could buy with that currency. The fact is that the stuff you can buy isn't worth spending cash on. If you can buy everything you want in the store and still stockpile Episode credits while NOT buying the Episode pass, they're guaranteeing that the EpPass has no monetary value. No one wants to spend cash to get more Stun Guns.
People are willing to spend money on Omicrons and certain relic mats. They aren't willing to spend it on purple gear. But we have all the currency we need to buy the Omis and the best relic mats available and then some slicing materials and we still are bumping up against the cap without paying for anything.
Raising the cap won't help either. The store simply doesn't offer enough good things to buy. Again, I'm FTP and I've already bought things I didn't want just to clear cap space.
upping the Omi Supply is actually a good idea -- everyone can spend on Omis. You can't up it too much though, I understand that, so adding relic mats and signal data is a good idea. Personally I wouldn't buy the relic mats. I get plenty of what I need as an end game player just through raids. But I don't get near enough signal data -- especially when a Cantina farm drops. Add some SD to the store and then I might be able to spend all the currency I earn. Add enough SD to the store and it might even be worth it to buy the EpPass.
As it is, you've created a lovely economy that guarantees no one will ever consider buying the EpPass to be worth the money.
