Your screenshot shows you are still in the “setup phase.” After 19 more hours, you will enter the “attack phase” and you’ll be able to attack. Your opponents squads will appear on the right side of the screen. You can click on them, select characters to use, and attack. Then, submit the results after the battle is finished.

I ended three screenshots and that is as far as I get the only options I have

There is a 24 hour period where you set up your defenses, like you have done. Then, there is a second 24 hour period where you need to click on your opponent’s squads and attack them. You need to attack at least once and submit the results, even if you didn’t defeat any of your opponent’s characters. But, ideally, you will defeat all of your opponent’s squads.

Okay but I did not see what I can attack with my click on my Squad it lets me paint my squad and then it says set and I sent it and that's as far as I get is there a certain time period you weren't it says to attack or battle

You need to attack and submit the result or it will not count.  If you forfeit, you will not get banners.  If you time out, you will not get banners.
