Change ID on the forum EA SWOGH ?

How can I change My ID on the forum EA SWOGH ? Thank you for your answers.

    Hey @Jhawboooh, the steps differ depending on which forum that is. 

    Answers HQ
    To rename your Answers HQ account name:

    • Open your EA account via the Origin client/Origin website
    • On the bottom left, find your avatar and username and click on the arrow to the right of it
    • Select the option "EA Account and Billing" from the menu that appears and a new page will load
    • In the tab "About Me" you'll see the heading "Basic Information". Select the edit option to update your EA and Forum name.
    • Once you've done this, log into your Forum account for the update to take place.

    SWGOH Forums
    If you are asking about the SWGOH Forum:

    • Click on the cog wheel in the top right corner of the page (see spoiler tag)
    • Choose the second option should read "Edit Profile".
    • Select that and it will redirect you to the page where you can change your forum username.

    Just in case you are looking to rename your in-game  STAR WARS™: Galaxy of Heroes account you can do this from in-game itself from your account profile. Answers HQ
To rename your Answers HQ account name:

Hello, these instructions appear to be out of date. I do not have an Edit Profile option when it hit the cog wheel.

Can you please advise the correct way to cha ge your name on the SWGOH forums?

      @ChristophIV Well you apparently used to be able to. So is there a way to disassociate your account and make a new one? My SWGOH forum account name contains RL information and I don't want to doxx myself every time I want to post on the forums.
