Change Web Store Email

I linked my work email (I know it's a bad idea now...) and quit my job so I lost access to that email. I contacted EA help but was told they could not verify my account ownership so unable to help me. They also told me it's impossible to unlink the email (really?)

Has anyone successfully changed the web store email? Please help! Thanks.
