  • So what? Better rework characters which are already in the game, than add dozens of the newones...
I like nightsisters, for me they are not nonames, i waited for their rework for a year... Its just your subjective feeling...
  • enough with new characters. we had enough. we cant keep up in investing new characters over and over again.
rework of the ewoks, as well rework of nightsisters is blessed, even though i didnt farm ewoks OR nightsisters (besides ES and teebo)
it dont add to the power creep, it fixes it a bit. much much better than adding new toons all the freaking time.

-1 to your post. more reworks for more factions before introducing new toons. we want variety.

Well besides old daka Talia asajj other sisters are nonames hell even Talia and old daka too.
i think op meant there is much better characters that have seen more screentime and not just screentime those characters are much more interesting as well like clone commando gregor admiral trench Quinlan voss etc. i agree with him/her
  • It's all about Jar Jar, 3 movies and the clone wars. Force every to get Jar Jar to get Padme that's the way forward
  • Do we really need new toons right now to farm though? There's already so much we need to farm to stay relevant, I could use a break from the additions of more toons; many reworks are needed since the power creep will always be pushed a little further and teams, like nightsisters, will never be touched by any player, and if they are, it's only for collection's sake or GP increases.

Unless you have all toons at 7*, then try farming teams you don't have or have progressed very little with. CG doesn't have to constantly be adding new toons since there's so many current characters you haven't fully upgraded and learning how they play and seeing where they compete are completely new to you. Powering up my resistance team has been really fun for me since I was mainly using rebels and they were getting a little stale; resistance plays so differently from rebels it was refreshing to have to learn a more technical team. Resistance is based a lot on each individual attack while the rebels I used main strategy was to basically burn through the first toon as quickly as possible, then this toon, and so on, really only making a decision when one toon is defeated.

Start farming more technical teams like that, it might help refresh the game a bit for you, rather than just playing the heavy burn teams over and over or by adding even more to the power creep by releasing new characters. I haven't been able to try them, but a full empire squad seems to have one of those play styles, requiring more thought to each individual move. It's fun trying to figure out a new team, even more so in my opinion than learning only one individual power creep toon. Theres a lot of small things you learn that make these passive strategy based teams, like resistance, more effective; those heavy burn teams don't have as much of that strategy, relying more on just finishing each toon off individually in your order of who you think most dominant, without much thought being put into what is needed next until one gets defeated. It's still a fun way to play, but it's easy to get burnt out using this same type of team over and over.

Not everything you farm necessarily needs to be arena viable, especially if aren't really happy with them reworking toons over adding new ones. Just consider these teams you haven't played as the new content, you'd be surprised how much fun certain teams can be.

Although I am way into new ships being added! That's way better than more character releases!
  • I would prefer CG to keep working on balancing characters and reworking unusable ones then adding a bunch of new ones that won't be farmable for at least 3 months and when they are farmable they are only available on one hard node
