My guild just announced that some people were seeing update in play store.I can find no evidence of this. Can anyone confirm?

Characters are part of server side update. This is client update

Whenever there is a client update (new download from respective app stores) there is a 1-2 day delay for the server side client update. Some times they do a partial server side update to show stuff that is compatible with both clients.
Should get more information on that later.

I think it's fairly normal for characters and features to not show up until everyone has the update downloaded and is running on the same client. We'll just have to wait and see what the patch notes say
