This may very well only be a problem for some people, but the sollution you're proposing affects every player. So yea, it does concern even the payers who don't give a flying flute about quests.
Personally i want to get vader's fist, but while we finally have enough GP it's gonna take a while before i have convinced my guild that we really need to go back to finish that achievement. The new currency is too valuable at the moment, but eventually that won't be the case anymore.
