It's raid not Coliseum, so you wait until your guild opens a new raid and submit your attempts. You have 2 weeks left to complete it. It's a Marathon, not a sprint.
I think they're trying to say that while they know they'll get the same rewards, theirs will be delayed and during that period of delay their coliseum opponents can gain a temporary advantage.
It's not an insane thought. It's a little micro managerial. Some of their opponents won't even have an active raid going at the time, others will. Raid starts will not consistently line up the same way every time and next era they might be the one getting the advantage. So IMO it's an overreaction, but I do take their point that -- this time at least -- they're at a slight temporary disadvantage.
