Colosseum: CG trying to force us to pay???

So I threw a little money into the Colosseum. Result: With Level 30 Luke, I go into battle against Zeffo, Tier 2. Within seconds, he's down to about 60%, and from then on it's endless hacking away, because my team can't be defeated but only does 1 damage point per attack. 
There seems to be no way out of this cycle. Give up the fight: You lose all progress. Restart: the cycle repeats. Do you want to force us to throw more money in with such methods?
What the hell is this? Test and fix your game before you release new content! It feels like it's the same with every single update. If it weren't Star Wars, absolutely no one would play this garbage.
