Comparing our TW Matchup mathematically
The new matchmaking system promises to use two primary factors:
The squad power of participating individuals in each guild should be near the same average power.
The strongest possible squads of both participating guilds should be near the same average power.
So I've taken the time to compare our guilds in these areas.
Us: 74.6 mil GP - 49 participants - average active GP 1.5 million - highest squad GP of 106k
Opp: 97.6 mil GP - 44 participants - average active GP ~1.9 million (see below) - highest squad GP of 112k
Let's say that their 5 non-participating members averaged a very high 2.5 million GP (I know that this is unlikely and is actually probably closer to 1.5 each, but I don't want to be biased). That would make a total of 12.5 million, making their active GP around 85.1 mil. So 85.1/44 = 1.93 million.
So that's 400k more PER MEMBER. That's the equivalent of 16 fully maxed out CLS's PER MEMBER.
I cannot believe that this is WAI.
