Confirmed - GW will break at 36k Arena power

I'd read various posts from people reporting at which point their GW became unplayable in relation to their Arena power. Some people as low as 34k said they were now facing nothing but Meta squads from node 6, while others said their problems only surfaced at much higher levels.
I'd been holding my squad at 33k power so I could keep completing GW, but then it dawned on me that that GW is a completely unenjoyable soul-sucking grind that was making me hate the game all together.
Since I had no interest in GW anymore I figured I'd gradually level my Arena squad and watch the changes in GW as they occur. I have around 20 7* toons to use in GW, and I carried this out over the course of a few weeks:
33k: Fairly easy going with one to two meta (Rey/QGJ/tanks/other DPS) teams toward the end.
34k: Again never in danger of not completing it, two to three meta teams tho.
35k: Now it starts getting nasty. Three to four meta teams at the end, and they are preceded by a generous sprinkling of non-meta high-dps teams (droids, DPS toons-sans-tanks) that can burn down a healer, support or taunting tank no matter how hard you try and appease RNGesus.
36k: Meta teams from node 6. Credits can now only be obtained in exchange for your sanity and self-respect.
Obviously these are only my own experiences, but if your Arena team is in the low 30k's for power, then I'd strongly recommend leaving it there if there are heroes you still want from GW or you need a solid credit stream. I know CG said they'd look at making GW easier, but they look at a lot of things, and there's no guarantee they'll actually fix the problem at the heart of GW, which is that its populated by teams pulled from Arena. So the safest best is to make sure you stay ineligible to be opposed to said teams.
