Why not decouple the feats from the rewards and add a few more sectors, with each sector boss awarding the next crate, and each mini boss awarding the items between the crates. Sector 1 would be the first crate, Sector 2 the second crate, and so on.
Use the feats to award a specific data disk so that people have a guaranteed way to build their disk combos if RNG doesn't go their way on the disk nodes - 40 battles with X awards Thermal Exhaust and 20 battles with Phoenix awards Voluntary Vanguard - or whatever.
Each level of the conquest pass (in addition to what they already do) could increase the quality of the disks and/or reduce the difficulty of the feats.
