The reason why I'm upset is because it seems to me they've moved the goalposts. The way I see it... when you create an event you set the level of difficulty up front and you don't change it. If you want to introduce a new level of difficulty... no problem... create a new event that introduces that new level of difficulty.
Also, take the Leviathan... previous Capital ships were basically competitive with the new one but that's not the case with Profundity vs Lev. It seems to me they are changing the rules and I'm really REALLY dissatisfied with it.
I regularly pay the £29 for the Conquest event pass because I have a goal in mind that I want to achieve. In the past, I've been satisfied with my achievement but I'm certainly not with this round.
When issues like this happen it ruins trust and I'm seriously asking myself if I'm willing to trust them NOT to change the difficulty in future events and the conclusion I'm drawing is I don't. So, if I can't trust them, why play? I'm on the cusp of quitting forever.
