Conquest Change - intentional?

While I appreciate MeatHead's update that the team "investigated the issue", there is still no real explanation of what happened. What was the issue? Why has it taken this long to address the community about it? Was it simply tuned too hard, and if so, how does that even happen by accident? There's no way they will admit it was intentional even though that is how it appears to be (just like when they moved the "free" shipment items without notice so people clicked the crystal ones automatically out of habit), but the problem is I no longer trust them. Its one of those situations where all of the evidence of past occurrences keep adding up, and I just don't see how this could have been accidental. The whole thing is very disheartening. I got a refund of my Pass thankfully (through Google, which is why I will never make real purchases through webstore), and I'm not likely to spend any money at all in the future unless there is some change for the better. I really like this game too, and I actually liked Conquest (before this one). Its a shame
