Hello there.I was always upset, that I can't participate in hard conquest because of GP restrictions. I really miss the point of such things. Why u can't add some restriction like "u haven't completed normal? then u can't try hard" and keep calm about all this? why you need to add gp restrictions?? gp is just a stupid number! or why u can't just add some big warning written in HUGE red letters, if u try to join to difficulty without hitting recommended gp?? and let the players deicide, what difficulty they want?But with this new patch you really have outdid yourselves!Right now I have 1.5M+ GP. Last normal conquest I have finished with red box (all feats completed. all sectors are finished) ....and now I can't participate in it? because some strange guys with curved hands and no brains at all cry hard on forums, that normal difficulty is too hard for them??greaaat! now I'm supposed to do what? to beat guys with gear 11 (on the fifth sector!!!) with my sith empire squad, when my the lowest character from this squad has r5? and I have more then 10 characters with r5+!! and these characters + some characters with gear 10-12 are more then enough for normal!! and have u seen rewards for easy lvl? I don't know why I should even bother myself with acquiring this junk!!I'm playing this game for a year. yeah, I admit, that it isn't too much, but I never was this close to dropping it.

@CG_Doja_Fett_MINI I thought if people had cleared normal conquest in the past they won’t be locked to easy conquest mode?

@Salatious_Scrum I haven't written it above and I don't know if u are aware of this, but normal now has 2M+ GP restriction, which is annoying. to this matter this topic was supposed to be dedicated.I guess, I would be able to participate there, if had so much GP, but I have 1.5M+ GP. It is hilarious! On last one I had max reward and now I can't even try it.

The gp restrictions arnt needed. I posted the same thing.

Cute, you thought cg would tell the truth to its players… they are full of it and always will be. Take anything said by cg with a grain of salt snd possibly a shot of penicillin..

You may want a tighter roster for GAC, and TW.

They always want to push development, and that drives a need for GP gates, which come in many forms, in many game modes.

I don't think it is fair to compare TBs and conquest. There is huge difference between "You need more GP and teams to push through a TB." and "u can't participate at all without reaching certain amount of GP".
Yep. You could say, that u need 80M gp to try geo TB, but it is just 1.6M per player for the hardest TB! And for hardest conquest u need 2 times and a half more - 4M!

Let's be honest? They don't "want to push for development". I don't know why, but they push for some imitation of development. I don't see how artificial expansion of my roaster by raising characters/ships, which I don't want and/or need, which I will never use anywhere, could be called "development".

Besides, doesn't it look really stupid to u, that I was completing normal over and over and then suddenly I can't because of some artificial restriction?

It's basically this:
"You want to play with the big boys? Stop sandbagging then. If you want the highend rewards you need to play by the highend rules, deal with it."
CG wants you to develop your roster regardless if you want or need it. No furher roster progress, no further rewards. Being upset about it doesn't really change anything and when it comes to unlocking high end toons you need tons of geared ones anyway.

Great attitude, man. With this "deal with it" u could approve absolutely anything. I could advise you to add smth like "u could always stop playing the game, if u don't like some of these rules". it will sound even more wonderful this way.

unlocking high end toons doesn't mean u will have 4M of GP. u could easily have 3-4 GLs and still have roaster under 4M gp. I have personally seen a guy with 2 GLs(SLKR and SEE), who had something near 1.5M gp.

But I admit, that u are correct, that being angry won't help.("upset". lol. I guess, couple more edits by moderator and there will be written, that I adore all new changes) I believe, all the guys, who could change smth, don't listen or even care about such cries.
I'm just annoyed, that I was working hard on my roaster with certain goals in mind and now out of nowhere comes this...
so I'm forced to either drop these goals and admit, that all was in vain by starting to artificially expand roaster, or continue to auto-battle easy conquest and try to keep calm about the loss of tons of rewards from these events..

That’s a interesting take. It doesn’t drive a need for GP gates. The mode itself, if it’s designed well, should take care of that based on the number/level of teams it requires. A 1.5mil GP player is probably going to run into stamina issues.

It’s business decisions that drive the need for GP gates. That, or covering up for poor design/development.

@Firebrigade I have never had problems with stamina on normal with my 1.5M+ gp.
lack of some characters for some feats -sure. but stamina? nope. I have never even used stims for restoration of it.
