If you're in Europe it's darn near Boxing Day already -- the 26th, not the 25th -- and farther east it's definitely the 26th.

Christians are also ~30% of people on earth, so if you're a Christian in Europe or east of there but west of the International Date Line, or if you're not a Christian at all, it's just not relevant, and that's gotta be 85% of people or more.

To be fair, the US is a pretty Christian country, and it will be the 25th from Maine to Hawai'i, and the US is particularly relevant given that California, USA is where Star Wars began.

Even so there was no special consideration for college students dealing with finals or Jews during the High Holies, etc., etc.

Take the day off. Enjoy your 25th if that's your thing. You'll still get your target crate if you skip the first 12 hours of Conquest.

So skip that day. At the end of Conquest you are usually done with feats and spend the extra energy on datacrons anyway. It shouldn't be too hard to make up one day.

OP is asking for a week, not 12 hours or a day.

Can we also pause the game on Ramadan? Lunar New Year? Sundays? Saturdays? Fridays? Birthdays? Name days? Hump days?

Perhaps the game could let you pick your holidays, and give you maximum rewards without putting the time in those days. You could accumulate a number of these days over the years that you play. That sounds like a fun game and not like something else at all.

Or can we just ignore the game on days that we celebrate anything in RL? That seems easier than trying to accommodate everyone.

This is a game and stepping away is fine.

You mean you do every conquest battle? Try an entire ConQuest on auto. Much easier and stress free.

Here's an idea, Don't play on Christmas, but don't make decisions for the rest of us.

To make it clear, I don't think that starting on the 25th is an issue, it was bound to come up at some point, and I and the rest of the players will just have to cope....

that being said, for 4 of the last 6 runs of conquest I have finished the last of the feats needed to get red box on the final day. In all cases that's because I don't have the teams really at the levels required for the globals and so need good disk set ups, usually not available from day 1. As such, using only the 50c refreshes it takes time and I'm sure other players also rely on a 14 day run. Being so dismissive comes across as a bit high-handed and, IMO, belittles the experience of what may be a sizeable portion of the player-base who rely on a concerted effort over a full 14 days. YMMV.

The feats don't look too bad.
