Conquest

Except for absolutely everything, Conquest is a really fun mode. On the one hand, there’s the RNG with the discs, and watching the AI play for 4 minutes and 30 seconds until it’s your turn to use a b...

There’s no perfect way for you to quit the game, Smokey. You keep whining about how bad the game is but yet well over a year later you’re still here.

Conquest is a game mode that rewards roster depth, kit knowledge and a consistent level of effort. If you’re lacking in one or more of those things, you’ll struggle.

I know many seasoned players will agree with me that the current set is among the easiest we’ve ever had.

It's not about kit knowledge lol. Conquest for the most part, goes against any knowledge of kits, counters etc because of the modifiers. Conquest is a **bleep**show. I'm a seasoned player, and I'd have to disagree with you. I get red crate all the time. But if I'm being honest, the RNG and the gameplay/strategy for conquest is just dumb. The devs just had to put something together quickly, and they botched it. The concept of the game mode is actually good, though.

You got so close to getting it and then just did a u-turn.
It's about game knowledge. It's no different than TB enemies. Geo TB DDK is not the DDK you will see in GAC, which is not the oDDK you encounter in TW. Conquest Ewoks aren't PVP Ewoks. TB Imperial Troopers and Conquest Imperial Troopers are much closer to each other than the Imperial Troopers in your roster. Trying to fight Conquest Ewoks they same way you fight Ewoks in GAC is gonna fail, because Conquest Ewoks are a lot faster and they stun you. So, bring stun immunity. You can go with JKL lead with Jedi Cal and JML (all of those units are immune to stun) and reduce enemy speed to match Luke's. SK makes his squad immune to stun and daze, which works very well aganist Ewok teams with Logray.
And, as has been pointed out many, many times before, you counter the speed of Conquest units by blocking tm, or bringing your own reactive tm, or being immune to tm reduction, or with bonus turns. Oh gosh. Could it be that different enemy nodes in Conquest favor using different teams from your roster? Or you can just put on some data disks and use Inquisitors or QA or Great Mothers to run through everything like Hulk through wallpaper. Those teams can beat almost any Conquest node down to 0% stamina.

Every regular Conquest node has a known, tried and tested solution. A solution for every boss and miniboss is developed very quickly by the community for every season. Remember that one actually broken Conquest where boss nodes were stupidly overtuned? The community found solutions for that too, even before CG updated the game to fix that.
