Yeah that's the easy way. I have an arena squad that just does pure damage and pummels through GK most the time. Rarely do I need to use buff immunity/crit immunity to take out zariss, but it works against extraordinarily tough GKs. There are only 2 or 3 in the top ranks on my shard.
