Here is my big issue. We wanted a challenge, not something that 1% could finish. I do love the challenge, the fact I can toss my roster I worked hard on at something and build and test build ideas. Seeing characters not normally tops, be tops. I love that. What I hate is this new raid is a guild breaker. So many merging and pulling top players out to "try" the heroic for Kenobi. It kills it. You become like a family of sorts in the SWGOH universe.
It hurts a lot of people. I've spent a lot on this game. I have a roster that can do some serious damage on heroic, far more than my fair share in a 50 person team. I went the route with some of my core guys of building people up with us. Then due to rancor being a joke, we only took people with limited 7* to help them build. Many built up, but not anywhere near a level to have 6-7+ strong teams to toss at this thing. I know of several others that liked the balance of a guild that was not all massive rosters(FYI I typically registered 0 on Rancor so it was not to take 1) Now people like them, and myself are in a very poor spot. We have to choose if we play with the people we have become friends with or do we leave them to join others to knock out the heroic? Just a very poor situation that really ruins the fun of the game. I want Kenobi, and I have the roster to be part of killing a heroic, however I play with a great group of people that make the game fun. Whichever way I chose to go, there would be a part with regrets. As a guild leader it makes that decision a bit more complicated too. Though I made my choice. The day I choose pixels over people is the day I swim over Niagara Falls. Just as I said, a bad situation to put the majority of your player base in.
