Daily activities completion crystal rewards

This is just a random question but how exactly does the crystal payout for completing and collecting all the rewards work? Back on my birthday I recieved like 250 crystals upon claiming all the reward...

Yeah I thought the 250ish crystals was a bit out of the ordinary but again it was just a nice little extra gift since it happened on my birthday
