No it isn't. Explain why it's important. It drastically reduces the possible strategies for newer players
Pretty much every game mode drastically reduces strategies for newe players. Many characters have a level requirement before they're even available to farm. You'll probably say that they can still use them at 3 or 4*, but a new player only has room for 1 squad until later in the game, which means that they will not be able to effectively participate in Raids, which are a MAJOR aspect of the gameThey can build a raid-viable squad with 7* characters. They don't need FOTP 7* just so they can tag a rancor.3) None of these characters are special in any way. They're not important characters, and there's no reason to gate them that way. I could understand that characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Anakin, Leia or Han Solo would be gated that way, because they are important characters in the Star Wars lore. Clone Sergeant isn't. Ewok Scout isn't. There's no justification behind their non-availability.Well I have the opposite mentality. I say if they're not important, then it's fine for them to be gated that way. It's the more important characters that need to have greater availability, not the less important ones.4) Hard-nodes only farming isn't rewarding or satisfying. As I explained previously, you don't have to actually do something (reach a high Arena rank, win GW consistently, succeed in Raids...) to get them. It's the most boring, uninteractive way to get a character.
I'd say it's pretty rewarding. You log in every day for 6 months and you get a rare 7* character as a reward. Not much point in having that reward if the character isn't rare.
1) Consistency is important in such a game because one of its most important requirement is ressource management.
It's hard to correctly adapt your behaviour when the game doesn't offer you the possibility to analyze and predict the patterns.
This is not speculation, this is a fact. Which is why the devs have decided to create a consistent, unified and global release schedule.
Consistency.
You may disagree, but EA and CG doesn't, and I wager they know more about creating and updating their own game than you do.
2) All shipments are available for beginners, except for Fleet which unlocks at level 50. Reaching that level is a matter of days.
On the contrary, hard nodes are gated by level. You'll unlock Fleet shipments before being able to farm FOTP.
So once again, you're denying a fact, and you're actually damaging your own argument.
And no, First Order is not a viable option for beginners. You won't be able to farm the team quickly enough to be able to Raid and earn gear. If you choose to go the First Order route as a beginner, you will not be able to raid until a few months, putting you at a severe disadvantage.
A new player can't gear and level several teams. It's just a fact. You may have forgotten it, but it's really hard to gear characters when you're starting the game. So you can't both have a First Order team and a Raid team.
If FOTP and FOST were available in shipments, new players could farm them to 7* quickly, and have a 7* FO team to raid with. It's not the best team, but it will still do damage and bring in gear.
Currently, it's just impossible to pick FO as a starting team merely because of that. Once again, not an opinion, but a fact. It is not viable to do so as a new player.
3) Once again, this was not an opinion, but a fact. Based on the release cadence, the best toons are harder to farm, while those who serve a lesser purpose are made easy to acquire. Please take a look at what CG has done over the last few months. The facts are here, and you can't deny them.
4) This has nothing to do with logging in. You don't just log in and get a 7* Clone Sergeant. It is wrong. You have to dedicate energy towards that farm. Once again, farming a hard node is not fun or rewarding, it is tedious and doesn't require any effort. It is a fact. Don't pretend like SIM'ing the same battle every day for 1 year is thrilling.
Additionally, you're mistaking rare and hard to farm.
You're saying that these characters are hard to farm because they are rare.
But it is the contrary: they are rare BECAUSE they are hard to farm. That is the only reason why they are considered rare. Nothing makes them stand out of the crowd besides their rarity.
So we're back to my first point: Consistency, and specifically in character availability.
Your problem is that you disagree with facts. That's not how arguments work. You're supposed to create your own arguments, not say "But I disagree!" when there's nothing to disagree on.
Please start again, but instead of denying facts, try to come up with actual arguments.
Thank you.
