Veers, Tarkin, Gar, and DK also have pretty strong leader skills for DS in PVE. Sid has a viable one in PVE especially with Sith and the stacking offense across waves. Maul's lead is strong. Boba.
With a NS rework making that faction TB viable and a touch-up on old classic Empire toons like they did with Han / Leia / OB you'd have a lot to work with for DS to build 4 viable teams + platoons.
I think the imperial trooper faction is as close as we ll get to the ANH touch ups (which were fantastic)
And the ITs are the only other faction within The empire faction. I don't see them adding more empire toons unfortunately (still holding out hope for Rukh)
I think it's the long waited sep pass and FO going forward with the incoming ns.
