I've been focusing on sith lately. I have 3 sith that are definitely staying on my team including maul, Palpatine and vader. Maul and Palpatine are gear 10 and 7 star. My vader is 4 shards away from 7 star and he will be gear 10 shortly. I always use dooku and sidious just because they're the only other 2 that I invested any time in. I was thinking dooku and is nihilus worth gearing up and using. I have no intentions on farming him to 7 stars until he's available to farm for free somewhere. So he would stay 3 stars in the mean time but I know that just adds health

IMO, Nihilus with his unique Zeta'd is pretty plug and play into most top end Arena teams.His unique Zeta'd spams DoTs to opponents with no debuffs, which leads to auto Force Drain on them by Nihilus when he uses it and reduces his Annihilate cooldown by 1 for each opponent who suffers Force Drain.So, basically, he can Annihilate an opponent pretty quickly. That's a game-changer when you can use it on the opposing Nihilus or a beefy attacker like Savage or Kylo.I highly recommend leveling and gearing him up.

Squishy? At max gear and with mods mine has 25K HP and 44K Prot. The only issue with his health is if Sith Assassin is on the other squad, SA can 1-shot him with her special.

the only character in the game who has more protection than nihilus is baze, he is far from squishy.

My Nihilus has 60k protection and 20k health... He is indestructible !

Unresistable Cooldown Increase (Even better than ability block) ✓
Dispel on basic ✓
1 hit KO unable to be revived afterwards ✓
Second highest protection in game ✓
Increases max health from already decent base health ✓
Adds DoTs and can add health down constantly to enemies ✓
Leader ability that can make people cry because Dooku has good synergy with it even though it's easily countered ✓

I'd say it's probably worthwhile.

He was the first toon I paid straight up out of pocket and bought on day 1. Never looked back. He's indispensable to me, first as a team leader before I got Zaul and now after getting zeta for his unique, he's just awesome. Absolute must for a Sith team and pretty much useful on any other squad.
