If they for any reason give you the missing shard...then the next guy will ask for it at 83...
A bit unrelated...but in my country the passing grade is supposedly 10 out of 20. When i was studying it was common practice to pass anyone above 9.5 (round up). Then the 9.4s started asking...then it become bad for "morale" to fail with 9...so 9.0 became a passing grade for most teachers...then someone recalled the rounding and it became 8.5...
Presently there are already students asking to pass at 8.4 and 8.0... :)
