I feel like since the TIE Defender has the passive 'Counts as an Imperial TIE Fighter', that the TIE Reaper, TIE Advanced X1, TIE/IN Interceptor and the TIE Bomber should all also have that caveat....
Or am I the only one who thinks that? It just feels weird that the Defender and the Base Fighter are the only ones that benefit from 'Formation' when that was the whole point of TIEs, was to swarm together in formation...
I got what you are saying, it's weird, but it doesn't matter really. They gave this to the defender to try to convince people to use it with the Scythe, since the Scythe was absolutely trash before the players discovered the Leviathan counter.
This whole defender counts as a TIE fighter only matters when it has foresight and because of the Scythe it gets marked so it could dodge more likely.
It's a bigger shame that they still coundn't fix the defenters "Taunt".
