I read that they're not going to phase out the rancor raid, which I am happy about. I also read that raid gear may not be a part of the new raid rewards but will probably be mod based. So rancor raids will hopefully still be relevant.
That's correct, there was a podcast where Jesse was interviewed and stated that when the new Raid is added, guilds will have the option of running either Raid.
