Dengar the Disappointment: Can Dengar be used without Rex

Word. I've got Dengar at 6* and need about 65 shards. Already capped him, working on gear now. Farming crit chance mods for him as well. It'll still be a little while before he's t7 ready. I also need to get my Empire up for the good potency mods. Teebo is rocking all low level potency mods with a +30 speed primary potency mod.
