Did QGJ n Obi Wan die?

I was watching SW yesterday and at the end of the movie Yoda tells Obi...your old friend has found a path to immortality.
He was referring to QGJ.

When Maul attacked him...I know he went with the force...same like Obi when DV attacks him.

Are they moving to spirit form as part of the force or they die and become Jedi ghosts.

He definitely is. He was created as the Chosen One, and the people that thought someone else was the Chosen One such as Luke heard from the man himself George Lucas that Anakin was the Chosen One.

I don't know why people mess with the special edition stuff. Download Harmy's despecialized editions. The best version of the OT we will ever get. They are around 20 gigs each, but well worth it.
