Since the release of tb, numbers have been steadily dropping. I've seen it in guild, in shard chat, on reddit, in all the recruitment threads here and on fb. As each tb finishes, it seems more and more longtime players are quitting this game. What we're left with is too many guilds and not enough players, yet guild leaders try to hold on to the remainder of their people and operate at a handicap... causing more people to want to leave...As a community, we asked for more to do for a looooong time. So they gave us tb, but was it too much? Or is it something else that is driving the exodus. Curious what everyone thinks on this.

Not seeing the same. But it does clearly divide the casual and the more dedicated players into 2 groups.

Not seeing it in Order 66 guild at all and that includes 4 teams. There's always general attrition, but nothing elevated from prior to TB. As a sign of activity, my Day 1 hard launch arena is still very active and when crystals were introduced my ship arena picked up significantly as well. I also see the GP guild leaderboard continues to push UP for all guilds, which indicates players are still playing and advancing. Maybe TB pushed a few people out that were ready to go anyway, but I don't think it's a major long-term issue across the playerbase.

im not sure who mcmole is. and yes i think gamorrean has it more clearly than i did, so should clarify. It seems like a smaller guild killer, perhaps that's why guys in larger guilds aren't seeing it

I completely agree to an exent.

Being very active on alot of line chats, I've seen numerous long-time players just up and drop it.

However I feel like its less of a game killer and more of the start to it. Maybe you can't personally think of many people who have actually quit, but I guarantee you it isn't hard to find more and more people who don't like tb or are getting burnt out.

Tbh I think alot of people keep playing only because they feel that they are in too deep with time played/money spent. Or they are attached to thier guild.

I agree with the small guild killer. But that consolidation of players and streamlined operations for ea/CG helps with true data. How many farms are in existence, not many... too much content for farming.

no i do not, subjective opinion. Seems to be the case in my shard (aug 2016) and from what i've seen recruiting now vs the last 8 months or so. Again, may not be the case, which is why i was asking to see if this was an isolated thing that may have sparked my confirmation bias, or if this was more far reaching

Everything will be a subjective opinion on this forum and about this game. You will always have very different opinions.
