Did the Anakin rework go into effect during this event?

I’ve been playing tier 7 for hours and now Anakin is one shotting my characters??? At first I thought I was getting bad rng for about 20 attempts, but now I’m around 40 and he is still one shotting. I also noticed that it happened when I geared up my B2 another level which really don’t make any sense that Anakin is doing this!
