In all honesty (without sarcastic hyperbole above) I am giving it until end of year before deciding to keep playing or not. Reading the update and seeing the shard and pass gate-keeping, I’m leaning toward just dropping the game right now. Maybe a month will change that.
This is the exact approach about half of my guild is taking right now. CG is either actively trying to kill the game or they are trying to milk more from the player base that has stuck around through all of their terrible decisions.
Current players aren't sure how to think/feel about these changes, the level of complexity in this is going to push away new people trying to get into the game, and F2P individuals are already getting punished by them locking some elements of the "free path" behind obvious "give us money now" demands (see OP's screen grabs).
Not good enough, CG, especially after this **bleep** show of a year were all you've done is take rewards away repeatedly (Mother Talzin event, ABs "rotating", Raid rewards being brought lower and lower, etc.)
I would honestly put it at around 95% of our guild, mostly very active, over half in Kyber. Virtually none of our members want to spend another cent on the game after this.
Exactly the same, it's a big middle finger to the whole player base.
