Disappointment with CLS team

I agree with CLS is being important and certainly character you need to have. If you don't have either of these characters, should you go for CLS first? I don't think so.

I'm not comparing just CLS and Revan but whole teams. Because of that:

• CLS himself is easier to get but if you didn't have good bounty hunter and ewok team at the time when Chewbacca and C3PO were released, farming the whole team is completely different story. I would say farming C3PO before Revan is definitely wrong choice. Chewbacca may be a good choice only if you go for HMF as well.
  
• JKR team is not newer than CLS team. Chewbacca came like ~month before JKR and C3PO ~month after.
  
• I don't have an experience of beating easily Revan. I play Thrawn variant in arena and C3PO in GA and I don't think I win even once out of ten while Revan team will beat me every single time. In TW I use my team to weaken enemy Revan, usually taking one or two characters and timing out if neither of them was Jolee.
  

I don't have the greatest mods but they are some of the best I could farm/buy/slice so far. My CLS has +108 speed (H/CD sets). Others are between +87 to +95. Mods shouldn't be the root cause - especially not in arena where I don't even bother to fight teams which have Revan or Yoda faster than my main toons. But since Revan is giving speed bonus, they need to be significantly slower for me to have a good chance to win.
