Do you have any "must" rule?

Using the new system, for anyone to get a piece of gear they must be in my favorites.

Not a must but I stop toons at 50 until they are ready to use, I will mod them with secondary mods (not usless but not my best) and upgrade those for my daily activities

working on lvl 60 g8.
at least level 3 abilities (very easy, want higher)
takes a while as you might guess.

that's why all these new chars coming so fast is bugging me.

I don't hit activate on a character unless I'm ready to level and gear. That was if the toon gets moved to chromium I stil have a chance at a full unlock to maximize my shards.

Mine will probably make some people mad or jealous. But I can never try out a toon until they are g11+ with A+ mods on

Not a must - but I work to make sure I have a team in just about every faction - you never know when an event is going to pop up and now you don't have toons anywhere close. So far I've always been able to participate in anything that's popped up. It does mean I have a trail of G8 kinda moded toons that are, 'good enough' for the event but not much else other then die in Heroic. But, every time the event comes back I give them a little more love.

I ignore ewoks, for no real reason, and I will ignore the phoenix squadron - probably to my detriment, but I can only show my distaste by opting out.

This is solid right here. Pretty much all of this for me too - including the pretty much ignoring Phoenix.

Rule 1: No dark side.
Rule 2: full out or meh
Rule 3: farm shards first then gear.
Rule 4: Level 85 is fine, nothing past g8 unless that toon rocks or something.
Rule 5: No mods except on arena, raid or GW-worthy toons.
Rule 6: level 1 7* characters are to stay that way till I decide to work on them.
Rule 7: never stop on a character until g10/11, unless raid gear bottleneck.

Not really jealous. It's a very risky thing you do here, specially if the toon is not as good as you thought.

My must is having chars from every faction (as some people said) and be able to complete the events, without losing ground on arena.

I must max them all!!!!

I find it a less annoying gear grind - I'm not just waiting for THIS gear for THIS toon, but working towards a bunch of them at once - every day I can usually give bump one of the faction team members gear.
