Does Jyn need Potency Mods?

I have 5* and gear wall g8 (mk5 furnaces) so far she is amazing but i dont see the need for potency...your gonna use her stun baton 1st to control tm, get advantage so your getting a crit next 100% (thats 10% potency) and so on and so on. She buffs herself mainly, and has no debuffs except when in lead, and that grants +35% potency... and it specifically says "when enemies suffer debuffs during rebel allies turns they have a 50% chance to become exposed, this effect cannot be resisted"

So potency really doesnt do anything for her. Personally im not gonna dump potency in her just to get that 1st tm steal...its either gonna work or its not... i would rather put it into speed and get more chances to control tm over duration of battle. But thats my 2 cents.
