I think they are mostly powerless and listened to only marginally more than the player base. Their big win is talking the higher ups out of KAM being a requirement for lv. I appreciated and still appreciate that work. However, when the lunatics are running the asylum it’s hard to praise the psychiatrists being held hostage.
The decision of not requiring KAM for LV was because not enough people had KAM at the time and you can’t whale to unlock him. It would have hurt CGs bottom line. But of course the official story was that this one time CG listened to their customers.
