Some of the devices on the list are only a few years old. something made in 2015/6 can sit on shelf for a year or two then be sold new and at a discount, especially when the new models comes out.

So it's not too unrealistic people bought these devices new and even in the last year.

I bought a BRAND NEW STILL IN BOX phone for like $200, sure it was like 3 years old but I hey didn't pay $600 retail. This was just a few months ago (2019) and it my phone doesn't have 6.0 or better android. it's a great phone runs 2.5Ghz CPU processing, slo-mo HD video & screen record, Hotspot, 256gb memory, even does video editing on the device.

You assumed the people complaining were using 8 year old devices because some of the phones were 8 years. You even went so far as to say it was Ludicris.

I was just simply pointing out that your logic is flawed, not all devices listed are 8 years old, and people complaining are likely not using a 8 year old phone.

More likely people are complaining because they got 5 days notice game was being terminated on a device they bought less than a year or two ago.

Your a special kind of human... if that can be applied to you that panders to trying to offend people and contradicting yourself for the sake of entertaining yourself in your own little world, my phone is fine but I see the point of recently obtained phones getting screwed and you were met with logic but decided to throw it and claim it to not be. But really I'm just pointing out that blaming CG for advances in technology is ridiculous. Nobody is being deprived of anything as the simple solution is to get a compatible device. You will be glad you did for more reasons than this game

What do you actually think your catching or fishing for though? I'm not triggered or getting riled up I'm simply saying your critique and accusations are founded on nothing much than a hunch which has already been said, I'm sure most people aren't blaming CG for advances in technology especially since mostly that's not what their doing. If I were to really pick at reasons many people are upset with CG about this it's that almost all the time games start to need more processing and such for better graphics larger scales and such but most of the time there's that terrible PC that still gets used because... well an upgrade ain't cheap and a non real-time game isn't time sensitive so the game simply lags/is run at lower resolution/is left alone unfortunately and disreagarded.

People are being deprived that's the point of these people voicing their upset, not everyone lives perfectly content with a fat pay check to waste, many people shop for the bare basics of what'll do the job, and for 1 game on a mobile of all things not a fully fledged console or PC game it's so rare for old tech to not be enough, the average person won't be thinking about or know about the hardware creep and this is still stupidly short notice for that average person who knew no better.

These people voicing anger is anything but ridiculous and just because you like to split screen YouTube and Facebook and store about 100 illegally obtained songs or do everything but phone people doesn't make it a reason anyone else will be glad for a newer spec phone, believe it or not many don't glue themselves to their phone and will have 1 game like this for when there's nothing to do in a waiting room and such because (likely) to them this gives them the nostalgia and happiness star wars gives them.

This is no different to one of the big bois down at E3 saying ah btw you need to get our next gen console or you can't play any of our games you already have anymore, the old console can't actually use the disks anymore we put code to self destruct the disk reader.
