Double drop ending with sept 24th? [MERGED]
So is this correct? Why does double drop say it ends in 9 hours when the announcement says it runs till the 25th. The first minute of the 25th only? This could suck balls. . .

The bolded is incorrect. It clearly says "to". If it had said "through", in American English, that would include the 25th. I realize British English makes no such distinction (hence the confusion) - but the developers are not in England, they are based in the US.

The same was the case in Android. The countdown timer has been active for 72 hours and now people are pretending to be "surprised" that is over. :D
Yiu can argue the semantics of "to" meaning "until" vs. "through", but c'mon people. Open your eyes.
Why would someone be compelled to click on the countdown, or even pay attention to the countdown, if they have a reasonable understanding of English and read the update notes here or through the in-game message system? I don't think it's unreasonable to expect update notes to be written in a way that are unambiguous. If they meant 'through' the 24th, that's probably what they should have said.
Dude, pick a lane. On the one hand you suggest that the "to" can mean either (your "also interpreted), then suggest that no one should be confused enough to even check the countdown timer. And the argument about update notes being written in a way that's unambiguous is a strawman - no one would disagree. I agree - they should have either stated "through 9/24" or simply said "will run on 9/22, 9/23 and 9/24."
But even so, there was a countdown timer on the main screen of everyone's arena as well. I don't enjoy defending CG/EA, but people need to open their eyes and not try to blame someone else when the make a mistake.
