"Double" drops should have an asterisk next to it!

I know i'm not the only one who gets screwed over every time these "double" drops come around. Whether it's gear or shards the drop chances drop in half at best. I just went 4 for 29 on farming gear.

I suspect that if you own a bear you get better rates on drops. Nothing in the data contradicts this either.

EDIT: I am strongly considering purchasing one for the better drops. I'm currently weighing it against the cost of housing and feeding the bear, and also the risk of it eating one of my kids. Could go either way tbh.
