Star Wars ep 9 opens an early viewing a month before it's scheduled to open to the general public. To gain access to the early viewing the movie theater requires you to pay 5 times the price of a regular ticket.
However when you show up to see early access of the movie there are 40 other people there who paid the normal price, but the movie theater lets them in early even though they only paid the normal price.
So you, the person who paid 5 times as much to get early access, feel cheated and that the money you spent for the early access was pointless. You spent the extra money because you wanted to see the movie a month before anyone else, but the theater decided they were changing the rules at the last second.
This is the way some of us are feeling about Darth Revan. We paid, saved, hoarded to get early access to this new meta before everyone else. Now we feel cheated as more and more people are getting access to him by paying the bare minimum.
When JKR was released only 6 people in my guild were able to get him. With Darth Revan, 27 of us are on pace to get him.
Would you honestly say that the extra number of people in your guild getting him was because the event was delayed 4-5 days or because they got burned by not getting JKR the first time and wised up and started stocking their crystals and Farming the new OR toons upon release?
