It's a shame you think CG still listens to players.  Meathead does, but that's about it.  They don't care what we think or not think because usually what we isn't going to make money for them.  They're also not concerned with long-time or loyal players.  Their focus now is new players and new money.  

FDCs are a new money maker for them because they're making them so ridiculously overpowered.  Not everyone is spending RL cash to get them, but enough are or they wouldn't make a second set.  Regular DCs are also a money maker for them because this is Galaxy of Datacrons now.  New characters come in, sure, but datacrons are just copy and paste at this point and easy for them to roll out from the assembly line.  Characters require actual effort to create.  They drop a bunch of stuff in (whether it's broken, bugged, OP, UP, etc.) and let players deal with it for four months.  If this wasn't Star Wars, no one would be playing it.  CG's goal is to hit 3 billion before they shut down, maybe 5 billion?
