Your math is off. Way, way off.
The probability of missing 20 times in a row with a 25% success rate is 0.75^20 = 0.003 (or 333 to 1). With a 33% success rate it's 0.67^20 = 0.0003 (or 3333 : 1).

Did you calculate the probability of having success 20 times in a row with a 25% success rate instead? That would be much, much lower.
